another party

we had a special birthday party to attend... addie's.

she is our dear friend who move away to kansas.

we were lucky though, she returned to host her birthday party at a fun ceramics studio.

together we painted and enjoyed the company of our friends.

we celebrated birthdays... it seemed all season, with many different friends.  at the park...

one featuring a clown, a giant jumper and slide, games, popcorn, cake.  you know, a simple, low-key party for a four year old.  oh my... i knew i was in for it once we got in the car, b says, "my birthday party was not like that!"

you are right honey, it was not.

next up was another low key party to top the previous...

two rooms filled with jumpers and slides, candy, gifts, the works.  thanks super moms.  thanks.

and yes, i did have my own birthday, too...

catch up

It has been a while and we still have some catching up to do...

Here are a few photos from B's actual birthday a few weeks ago.

She had a nice day of playing, opening gifts, and cake.

N even got a gift from Nanny and Papa.

B got a special gift from N.  She loved it.

She could hardly believe she got roller skates from Nanny & Papa!

We ended the day playing outside and enjoying the nice weather.

Lucky Number 33

E turned 33 today.  It is his lucky number... no reason, it just is.  Will this be his best year yet?

We certainly think so.  We love you, Daddy!

birthday celebration with friends

We celebrated on Sunday with our friends.

B loved her cake.

We enjoyed the company of our friends.

Then we took the party to the Pumpkin Patch.

B went down the slide with her friend.

N played with the pumpkins.

We all took a hayride in a field.

It was a little cold.

But it was a fun way to celebrate B's birthday and Autumn.

First up - B celebrated her birthday at her preschool last week.  She wanted to share pink, sparkle, star sugar cookies...

While B enjoyed her celebration, N got to go to the doctor again.

B had a fun time celebrating four years at preschool, N gets to do breathing treatments four times a day.

Today b turned four...

She requested a three layer chocolate cake...  she helped make it.

B has grown so much in the past year.  Did you know she can swing all by her self?

We will post more of her birthday later, but for now we wanted to thank you for the birthday wishes.

N's Birthday!

N turned 2 today and we loaded the day with fun!  We spent the day at the aquatic center... a new discovery.  

We had so much fun splashing and playing in the water.  

Later, we invited our friends over for balloons, pizza, cupcakes, and more.  

We've had a little practice blowing out the candles...  He was really good at it.
