movie night

we took b and n to their very first movie.... the princess and the frog .  actually, this was our first movie at the theatre since before b was born - no kidding.

we all loved it.

Nature walk

We went on a nature adventure walk.

We went to the zoo last week to say goodbye to our good friends who moved to KS.

N enjoyed a break in the back seat of the stroller.  

So sad - A is one of N and B's good little friends and M has been a good friend to me as well.  

They will be missed so much.  Bummer...

We really enjoyed our day with A and our other little friends B & A.  The kids loved playing together.  

mother's day weekend

We had a nice weekend - a BBQ and music festival.  The kids had fun, but I do think N would like to be a bit bigger.

it's raining, it's pouring

We are definitely not snoring.

We went to the Museum with our friends...

All this rain is really making everything green and lovely.  

We read a book and then did art projects at the Museum.  

This is B closing her eyes to imagine her favorite place (which she later told me was the bakery)!  So funny!  

N enjoyed a snack before tackling art.

B and her little friend - we are sad because they are moving in May.  We will miss them!  

We went to the Aquarium with our friends...

She thought it was pretty neat!

B has always admired jewelry.  She made her own necklace and bracelet.  I'm not a jewelry maker, so I don't know how well they will hold up - Maybe Grandpa can help refine our new craft.  They have lasted through the weekend, so that shows a little promise!  

Yes- I let N play, too.  You can imagine the mess.  

I'm sure I'll come across little beads for days to come...

little gardeners

Spring fever?  We planted our flower pots this weekend.  

B has been eager to "grow a flower." 

 N was really into it, too.  He's our digger, so it wasn't a surprise.  

It was fun and ended with a little rain for the plants.  

Easter Eggs

What's Easter without the eggs?  

Well, since N is allergic to eggs, we opted to paint wooden eggs.  

The kids had fun.  B could do this for hours.  

N loved watching B paint.  

It was a fun project to do while it rained outside.  

Getting Better

Just a quick update for you all - B & N are feeling better.  

They both have colds, but the fevers are gone and they seem to be feeling so much better.  

It's nice to see the smiles again... asking to do more activities is always a good sign.
