we walked the line

I got the kids their N1H1 shot yesterday afternoon at a clinic.  It was the only public clinic in our whole city and our own pediatrician was not getting the vaccine in at all this season.  With a very limited supply in our area, I was determined to do what we needed to get them vaccinated.

N and I picked up B from Preschool and headed straight to the clinic.

We were 15 minutes early, so I thought we were in great shape.

Looks like everyone else had the same idea.

We stood in line for over 2 and a half hours, but they are vaccinated. (It was almost as long as the line we stood in to vote for the President of the United States!)

Thank goodness I am my own boss... the past few weeks have been filled with running around to Preschool and appointments.  We have been busy with a handful of doctor's appointments.  

Pediatric surgeon on Tuesday, Pre-op at the hospital yesterday, Allergy testing next week, and another big day for N next Friday.  

The kids have been really good at all of them.  Today's agenda?  Flu Shots... fun.
