Ice Cream for lunch

It is a pretty special day when you get to go to a great park, eat ice cream for lunch, and ride your bike all in the company of your grandparents... 

Adventures in the wild

B and N enjoyed some outside adventures at Grandma and Grandpa's.  They set up the tent outside and even planned a dig to see if they could find any treasures.  This was perfect since we always tell them about how their Grandpa digs for fossils (and by the way, now has his own Etsy shop, too)!

We had many fabulous meals... home cooked meals by Grandma and Grandpa can't be beat.

Great Grandfather

In between time with Grandma and Grandpa, I took the kids to spend a little time with my grandfather, Baca.  They really love him and love going to his house.  

B and N watched it rain and Baca watched the kids...

It was especially great since my mom, Nanny, was there visiting, too.  In the same town live my cousins and my Uncle and Aunt.  We have a lot of people to see in a very short amount of time!

My cousin is a big guy and kind of tough looking, but N LOVES him - no hesitation!

Blessings

While visiting Grandma and Grandpa we were blessed to be able to attend church with the whole family, listen to Grandma play piano, AND listen to Grandpa give the sermon.  

Three generations...

"Grandma is good!" B says.

Hang around... there is still even more to come from our holiday.

Summer Holiday

We went on a super long holiday to Wyoming and Colorado, so we have lots to catch up on...  Our list of musts was so long I thought it would make my head spin.  Hop in the car for an 18+ hour car ride and come along on our adventure... we must be crazy.  

The view along the way was nice, but come on, we need to get there already!

Off to Wyoming to visit ALL the grandparents.  First on the list, Grandma and Grandpa!  

We could go for many walks to the park around the corner.

We could hardly wait to play with our cousins, too. 

Playing with Grandpa's dogs really made us itch for our own.

We were able to chat with the wild animals... there are many in Wyoming you know.

Loves and hugs from Grandma are just about the best thing yet... stay tuned, we will continue on our journey through the wild west in the days to come!  

N's Birthday!

N turned 2 today and we loaded the day with fun!  We spent the day at the aquatic center... a new discovery.  

We had so much fun splashing and playing in the water.  

Later, we invited our friends over for balloons, pizza, cupcakes, and more.  

We've had a little practice blowing out the candles...  He was really good at it.
