nanny and papa made it.  we were waiting and waiting.  we had a week packed full of fun.

oh how we miss them already.

Autumn leaves still falling

We love Fall and our weather is fantastic.

Tossing the leaves, playing, and laughing...

This has been a daily event at our house... and yes, they are still in their jammies.

We had a lovely Halloween...  surprise, surprise!  

B wanted to be a princess and in true little brother fashion, so did N.  

He loves his sister and loves doing what ever she is doing, the skeleton costume just wasn't cutting it.  

They get along beautifully and on Halloween we were happy to take our two princesses out to trick-or-treat.  

We met up with the neighbors to head out into the neighborhood. 

 By the end of the night, we were ready to head home to check out the loot.

Score!  Hope you had a funtabulous Halloween, too.

funny pumpkins, falling leaves

We hope you had a nice Halloween weekend.

We spent the first part of Saturday outside decorating our pumpkins and playing in the leaves.

We had some beautiful weather.  The kids used these pumpkin decorations this year and loved them.

We have had a ton of leaves fall all at once this season, so there was a bit of yard work to tend to.

Everyone enjoyed jumping in the leaves...

we walked the line

I got the kids their N1H1 shot yesterday afternoon at a clinic.  It was the only public clinic in our whole city and our own pediatrician was not getting the vaccine in at all this season.  With a very limited supply in our area, I was determined to do what we needed to get them vaccinated.

N and I picked up B from Preschool and headed straight to the clinic.

We were 15 minutes early, so I thought we were in great shape.

Looks like everyone else had the same idea.

We stood in line for over 2 and a half hours, but they are vaccinated. (It was almost as long as the line we stood in to vote for the President of the United States!)

It has been a while and we still have some catching up to do...

She had a nice day of playing, opening gifts, and cake.

N even got a gift from Nanny and Papa.

B got a special gift from N.  She loved it.

She could hardly believe she got roller skates from Nanny & Papa!

We ended the day playing outside and enjoying the nice weather.

Lucky Number 33

E turned 33 today.  It is his lucky number... no reason, it just is.  Will this be his best year yet?

We certainly think so.  We love you, Daddy!

birthday celebration with friends

We celebrated on Sunday with our friends.

B loved her cake.

We enjoyed the company of our friends.

Then we took the party to the Pumpkin Patch.

B went down the slide with her friend.

N played with the pumpkins.

We all took a hayride in a field.

It was a little cold.

But it was a fun way to celebrate B's birthday and Autumn.

N might be feeling a little better...

First up - B celebrated her birthday at her preschool last week.  She wanted to share pink, sparkle, star sugar cookies...

While B enjoyed her celebration, N got to go to the doctor again.

B had a fun time celebrating four years at preschool, N gets to do breathing treatments four times a day.
